They aren't particularly happy. I know a lot of people there. They aren't any happier than Germans, English, Dutch, Swedes etc. Similar sorts of complaints. Denmark doesn't have quite as bad an immigration problem but it has plenty of other issues and there aren't good opportunities there for aspirational young men.

It's not a survey.. they don't ask people to quantify their happiness. It's mostly a combination of wealth, health, safety, perceived corruption, social mobility, freedom.
This is also why you have a happiness score from every country on earth, from every year over the last decade.. They don't call people in Zambia and ask "how do you rate your happiness?" - they look at the data and figure out shit sucks down there..

Btw, on a side note, Denmark allows exceptions of pretty much everything and their corporate tax is low. As long as you write off everything you can pay an effective tax of around 15% and get top tier services paid for by wagies. Unlike other communish shitholes like France, Denmark is structured pretty well not to castrate creative individuals.
You'll never pay this little in the USA and all the money will go to Israel, while in Denmark you actually get the socialist benefits.

They literally have caps on how many foreigners can be in one area, to ensure that "native Danishness" is not diluted in any area across generations.
