I bought the definitive edition and I've only played through 1 campaign, I think it was William Wallace. It was enjoyable but not addicting. Am I missing the proper autism gene to thoroughly enjoy this game?

Rise of Nations is a bit repetitive but fun. Age of Empires 2 is the superior game overall, though. If you can watch T90, you can enjoy these games.
