Are there any anons who invest in stuff like art, antiquities, natural history, watches, ...?
Personally, I have a small collection of ancient stuff. Pic related is my latest purchase, an Egyptian fragment from Abydos from the mid-2nd millennium B.C.
You have to really know what you're doing, but it's nice to have a store of value that's also beautiful and interesting to look at.

I collect art but I wouldn’t say I invest in art. I’m adjacent to art collectors but it’s a foreign world to me still. I do have some priceless mesoamerican art that I received from a family member who worked on archaeological digs but I wouldn’t ever sell those. They’re priceless to me

I hope these were official digs and that he had permission to take these artifacts, and that you have actual proof to back that up, otherwise they are worthless from a monetary point of view.
99% of Pre-Columbian artifacts on the market were looted, regulations are tightening very quickly so there is a very real chance that a couple of years from now you won't be allowed to sell even if you wanted to. Similar to the situation with ivory these days.
I work in the trade if you couldn't tell btw.
