I've noticed normies new to crypto seem to go straight to the alts. Doge is always popular with them. Litecoin to for some reason. XRP is big with everyone right now.

They've been screeching about XRP going to a bazillion dollars since January. They already picked their narrative.

the only big news they had was with Ondo tokenizing treasuries on XRPL but it likely involves chainlink somewhere on the way as JP morgan admitted they use chainlink with ondo for treasuries.

It's always the same. They look at price, not market cap. DOGE and XRP are pennies so they buy those. Eventually whales will obliterate the price of assets like that, given the high market caps they will struggle from here to do anything better than a 2x and most normies are going to get burned hard and have to bag hold for years, maybe this time forever as regulation comes in and sifts out the useless memes and vaporware.

Normies have adhd or some form of anxiety disorder. Most developed it around 2019 with tiktok and all that, and now all kids have their brains scrambled as well so the next generation of adults will have it even worse. Nobody will buy alts, people will either go for tradstock and hate it or memecoins and get raped. This is why I'm doubling down on doge, bongo and mog. My logic is solid and the evidence is not hard to find.

Obviously. Alt retail is obnoxiously terrible, has been that way for almost a year at this point. Never forget ethchuddies imploding with joy as their memecoin is missing 1k less from it's ath, which it reached back in the day. And it's ethereum, THE altcoin of excellence. The second most recognized name right next to Bitcoin.

Very relatable. When I first got into crypto in early 2021, it was because of news about Doge mooning. When I saw that the price wasn't even 10 cent, I just had to buy to be early in case it would go to 50k like Bitcoin was at that time. So yeah, you live and learn. After a short while I found out about market cap, altcoin season and cycles and sold at around 50 cent for roughly a 5x.
