Crossposting, anons, since I thought this business advice would be very helpful to any anons dealing with debt.

I LOVE gaslighting collectors. It's already a mind-numbing wagie job, shaking down homeless schizos for pennies which they already spent on meth.
So, when I spend 30 minutes on the line with them explaining why Canada isn't going to exist in 5 years, and hasn't actually existed for 45 years now (The Syrupnigger's Paradox), I assume, by the end, they're close to suicide.

Most recently:
>discuss with a collector, at length, "you know, I heard that something like 50% of all debts are going default now,"
>mention how the cops don't respond to calls anymore (they might, but it's funnier to deny the existence of the police)
>if I find out they're from a different province, I make up something insane "oh yeah, you know, I can't speak for you guys, but it's kind of crazy, like, 60% of the local businesses have closed here"

The most delectable part is starting out seeming completely sane, and gradually sprinkling in schizo shit.
They're starting to make better settlement offers on my debt. I like to think it's because I'm driving their workforce to suicide.

If I get an unknown number now I immediately answer the phone with an Indian accent and start trying to get them to buy me google play gift cards. Works wonderfully. Debt collection calls have cut down considerably.

Currently in the process of accumulating as much credit as possible. So far I've got $57k in cards and a line of credit. Once I hit 100k I'll max them out and default.

Here are some topics I reuse all the time though:

I also make sure to be really calm and cheerful when explaining it.
Otherwise, you come off like a rambling crazy guy. My favorite thing to do is to copy their accent or manner of speech, so it becomes gradually more uncanny as the call goes on.

Sometimes, if their voice is similar enough to mine, I'll just mimic their intonation and pitch too.

I have two cases with collectors.
My credit score is 500. My debt is in the tens of thousands.

None have filed, but I presume they soon will.
Unfortunately for them, I am completely uninterested in paying, unless they want to settle for like 5% of what I actually owe.

I can literally declare bankruptcy at any moment, and I've only avoided doing so because I find it hilarious to practice Cold War-era psychological warfare techniques that I read about in my manuals.
