I doubt it. The arcade in its current form looks nearly identical to what it looked like in its alpha stages back when they sneaked it in early 2023. These guys have no interest in building on the arcade at all. The only reason why we have one is because they were pressured into releasing it after the bridge got released.

To be fair, I can’t put all the blame on the team. Avi launched right around the same time Base did, so it made sense for the team to simp for them since Base was “supporting builders” to build on chain. Avi wanted to build a bridge to base and host the arcade on Base and everything seemed to make sense at the time. However, song the way, base fucked the team over for whatever reason and instead of moving on and focusing on the arcade, they continue working on the bridge that no one was using in the first place. No one was using it to bridge to base and no one is using it to bridge to polygon. They have this weird fantasy about their bridge generating millions in volume and it just isn’t going to happen.

LET GO OF THE BRIDGE FFS. Put all your time and energy into building the arcade. They need to take this shit seriously and treat it as a real business. Not spend 18 hours a day food posting in the TG while they wait for the fiverr team to finish working on V2

They started off strong desu. The early amas were bullish and the way they talked about their plans for the project seemed like they were confident and knew what they wanted to accomplish. My guess is that at some point in early 2024, they lost hope in the arcade and went full on bridge mode and they haven’t stopped since for whatever reason. I wish I could see whatever it is they see in it.

It is a big deal if these guys want to go the steam route. They would have to go back to the drawing board and start from scratch again. And keep in mind that every idea that the team has, some other group out there has already done it or is at least 5 steps ahead of them.
