"It is the extreme volatility in the value of the bitcoin that makes it fail the second and third common definitions of money. An asset that gains and loses a substantial percentage of its initial value each day will serve neither as a useful unit of account nor as a dependable store of value."

>Stability in value
Has been stably going up.
>Liquidity
Billions in daily volume, ETFs, just did a $9B OTC sale with Galaxy Digital.
>Universally accepted
Yes. It's global and borderless.
>Independence from risky assets
Yes, almost its own asset class.
>Trusted in crises
Has only seen covid. Dumped hard but recovered very well.

It's still very young and hasn't fixed its chain security problem though. Also there's competitors that are equally young (5 year difference means nothing) that might come on top (maxis will seethe but it's a fact).

You literally are required to use a bank account with crypto unless you want kyc/aml to confiscate it all. But you omit this information because you are a jidf shill

>stably going up.
except when it craters, that's not stable
>Billions in daily volume
liquidity is gated, it will dry up in a real crisis
>global and borderless.
universally accepted at crypto exchanges, that's it pretty much
>almost its own asset class.
completely correlated to stocks
>Has only seen covid. Dumped hard but recovered very well.
won't recover in a real crisis
