INJstaking
INJstaking
md5: 46fa7952707aefc1f7f3954d9f7e9f50๐Ÿ”
Man, the crypto stuff might be a bit more complicating than thought.

In case of Staking, did you know some tokens generate "revenue" or interest every few second? Some each 2 hours, some take longer. It depends also with which Validator/provider you stake.

Now, in germany for example 256โ‚ฌ are taxfree to stake.
Do you go above, you have to tax it all. The issue is rather how the fuck to keep track.

Cause I assume that each time you receive a "reward" (your staking interest) this would be the taxable event. Now imagine you stake, generate every few seconds a new (part-)token for you but the token changes price every day.
>reward, INJ value at creation $12,1
>next reward INJ price $12,2
How do you want to fuckin do taxes on that. At the end of the year you have to pay taxes on tokens generated that in the meantime might have tanked in value (since they don't deduct taxes; and how would they, you receive the token as reward, not money like with regular $/โ‚ฌ banking and interest).

Picrel, INJective. Reward frequency 0,67sec.
That means a taxable event more than once in a second. That's nice for compound staking, but taxwise this seems like hell.

It would be possible to keep track if the exchange or the provider where you stake has a transaction history that states the token, the price of the token at creation of the reward and the equivalent in USD/EUR. But it would still be a pain in the ass.

There'd need to be a change in the law to make this easier.

They should just snapshot the year end and compare to previous year end for calculations. A billion transactions shouldn't matter, just what you started the year at, what you ended the year at, and how much you realized

>>60694328
You basically realize every second, but the token every few minutes also fluctuates in price.
In general this would not be an issue if the provider that you stake with at the end of the year gives you a list or better an endcalculation that states how many tokens you've created via staking in the year and what worth they'd have summarized. If you'd have to do that yourself, trying to which reward at which time had which price and with that which value and to add them all, each indivually together would be retarded.

Automation is here the key. The provider has to be able to give you a simple endresult that their program has calculated and kept track of.

I mean, with METAtrader, I also do not go through each trade but see at the end my the sum of my gains, sum of my losses and the netgain. Here with staking there needs to be something similar otherwise it's not worth the effort.

md5: b4171575f41c5c4153d44d04766611fc๐Ÿ”
if anyone ever cared about ai dashcams this is prob the last projection i will do on it since i'll be scaling out, not buying anymore so not too committed for anything beyond 2027

im prob going to scale out of ai dashcams to scale into AMPL, CXDO, VTSI, maybe INFU too going forward, woulda entered AEHR but missed out entering before a +40% pump just the past couple weeks wtf i hate it
i'll be a bit more diversified but it does take more time to look over each company holy shit, my original plan was to scale out into 10+ companies that's too much. 5+ is my limit and i'll just put the other half into cash or index etf or gold/bitcoin

prob gonna liquidate my small joke gme position since other US tickers starting to be more attractive now, but also maybe not because new console cycle might trigger another pump n dump on it

it was a loser from 2020 (didnt sell the peak in 2021) i was shilled it along with PNG.V back then, didnt touch PNG.V since i liked the concept of ai dashcams better, PNG.V also ended up being a winners
eventually it started picking back up in 2023, so i missed actually catching the falling knife down at 20 cents, most of my shares were buying on the momentum/recovery up between 35-50 cents

smg used to have more bountiful weekend/nightime discussion back then. i only had 4-figures to start so everyone else back then has already made enough (or blew themselves up) and moved on from smg
i actually have too screencaps of the archive back then of when /smg/ regulars turned into gme general in 2020 lol

basically i just like plays where the risk-reward is lopsided, like risking minimal downside maybe only 30-50% because ur buying when the price is barely above the intrinsic value of the company (like when people were buying oil companies under book value back in 2020/2021). JXN was also shilled here around $30/share when the book value was $90/share but their book value is a bit weird with hedges/derivatives/bonds so JXN might just have been lucky, it was still at lower revenue multiples compared to other in the industry

as for finding tickers ur just going to have to lurk a lot and turn over a lot of rocks, some people use screeners as well like searching for tickers that fit specific parameters
all i can really say is, make best use of ai chat tools to help learn metrics faster, like if you see a term you dont understand like CAGR just ask chatgpt unironically, it'll be faster than googling and reading off investopedia or something since u can tailor ai to other context to guide your learning faster

turn over all the rocks, dont disregard it just because it's blockbuster 2.0, lots of smg anons were salty for ignoring gme back in august 2020

>i was shilled it along with PNG.V back then,
just to clarify it was in /smg/ lol
i had other value traps/picks in my watchlist i ended up missing out on too that was discussed here like RYCEY
i actually still have fucking HELLOFRESH in my watchlist because it was shilled here, no i did not buy it but i wasnt just going to ignore it, look for every opportunity

right now imo the next opportunities are still in ai (smallcaps), there are lots of buyouts, the bigger companies have had their runs but they can use their inflated stock valuations to raise money and buy out discounted smallcaps to expand fast. IWM (russell 2000) has not recovered to ATH yet, once it does then it'll only just be the start of a bubble
theres lots more i can say to that but i already mentioned it a few threads ago or something, GOOG marks the beginning. Dotcom crash bubble can be said to happen because companies were afraid to miss out, internet was gonna change everything and yes it did, so a bubble got inflated from everyone just blindly buying anything internet-related. I don't think that same mania is here yet with ai companies because it's still very much cemented in fundamentals, even megacaps like TSMC are still projecting to double their revenues look at their most recent earnings

Has Pepsi the soda gone flat? I know that most of the company is no longer in the cola business but I'm not sure if it bodes well if they can lose such a strong position to Dr Pepper.

Imagine you had a room with about 10 tards and downies in it, so you decide to play a fun little game because what else do you do with a room full of fruit and nuts? You pull out a wiffle bat and tell the downies that they need to sell the bat to eachother until everyone in the room has a million dollars in profit. The first tard sells the bat to the second sperg for $100, and it quickly escalates from there until the wiffle bat is worth 100 trillion dollars. This only works because the downies and the tards have no grasp of risk - they never stop to wonder if the tardo next to them can actually afford the 500 million dollar wiffle bat. They don't even stop to wonder if there will be any willing buyers for a 10 trillion dollar piece of plastic, they can't understand so the price can only go up. So that's the stock market. That's it.

Itโ€™s not really quite like that, but yes stocks operate on supply and demand so excessive demand for stocks will cause overvaluation. Except in all the non US countries where itโ€™s mostly normal

u have to ignore pe though, if theyre spending a lot more than usual on capex then their pe might be 1000+ or negative but switch to profit mode back to pe 20 once theyre done expansion phase

or they have operational leverage and project to increase revenues faster than expenses
personally i do like to see profitability early on but that made me miss a lot of opportunities

You know whats scary, ive been through like thousands of videos about spirituality and new age and they taught me a lot about all the topics, you know i can go on /x/ and shit out an entire succesful thread on demand but each time wherever i look i see very little of the actual jesus, like they always wanna blot out what he actually said. The bible is not enough, you need it all, all the lost gospels, the quran, the gnostic scrolls, stuff in hinduism that seems to talk about him, all the scrolls and testaments and then youll start forming something of a tought about the true jesus

To be fair, Dr. Pepper is pretty tasty. It's good enough to stand on its own compared to the giants.

I work in pharma (immunology so not that relevant) and all I can say is itโ€™s so complicated to try and figure out whatโ€™s going on in the lab. You could work there and not know if itโ€™s a good investment, thatโ€™s what makes the sector so crazy
