Is it really because it's the terrifying bear market trauma that it'll just turbo dump again when I try to time the bottom? Problem is when it shoots up, I get demoralized and fomo completely takes over so I buy a 10% cope stack. Then it dumps on me and I'm either bagholding or panic sell.

Why is this market never psychologically fair?

It is fair though. Stupid and cowardly people lose while smart and courageous people win.

Let me guess, "smart and courageous" are lucky charm perma hodlers where their investments just keep going up and up forever? What do you have to say for the poor saps who say bought something like GRT, ICP, ONE, etc. from last cycle and are still hodling? Are they "smart and courageous" even though they're constantly bleeding out?

Don't gaslight with blanket meme statements. Provide details instead if you wanna talk.

When the price is low it feels like the asset is dying and destined to go lower

When the price is high it feels like the asset is prospering and destined to go higher

Pretty much my feelings psychologically although I keep yelling at myself it's just whale shakeouts but man the thought of an impending bear market and 2022 trauma are always at the back of my head at the same time. It's incredibly hard to deal with.

It's not supposed to be fair, brainlet. It's designed to shake out weak hands like yours. Stop looking for comfort, start looking for value.

I hold 2 assets, one is defensive with low drawdown and one aggressive with high variance

During crashes the aggressive position will hit parity with the defensive position and this is when I rebalance into it. Not exactly the bottom but pretty close. Then when its pumping hard I dca slowly into the defensive until the dry powder is sufficient

so many second cycle anons will sell way too early I can already see it

sweaty second cycle nervous wrecks heavily conditioned by bear market price action constantly itching to take profit. "I can't miss the top again" PTSD scrambling their brain after every pull back with every following green candle making them only more anxious. getting the slightest happy thought pop in their brain after years of nothing but depression and immediately thinking they are in full blown euphoria just because they stopped thinking about suicide for a second. and then the real depression starts after they sell and the market leaves them in the dust

I was there back then. I simply lurked extremely hard and adjusted my holds until it made sense logically. Also the bottom is marked by full despair, bears were calling sub 10k btc when it was obvious it had essentially bottomed.

This. You're getting rekt because you're playing narratives, not actual tech. Real value is in the L1s building the future of AutoFi and AI agents.
