Also - your a massive liar and a phoney. Reset the counter.
I want to buy btc. I was previously burned by buying on an exchange (sofi) after they simply closed their business due to the regulation pressure.
I understand other exchanges where you pay another company to own "your" coins have failed in the past and will probably fail again.
But the process seems so impenetrable to learn how to actually buy my own bitcoins and then take ownership of the coin in a cold wallet. Let alone then use that coin to exchange for other goods or services.
I now hear that place is like coinbase which is arguably one of the most popular exchanges allows you to take ownership of your own btc?
I just want to know what my best option is. I do not want to buy BTC with the goal of converting to USD in the future. I want to own BTC with the goal securing my family's wealth and to exchange it with other assets of value in the future.
In fact I want to separate my wealth from the USD as much as possible. I own gold and silver but now it's time for Bitcoin.
Thanks for your help
