I could see $10k if things get ugly. Regular investors will need to use the money for living expenses, normies will lose interest because there won't be any get-rich-quick opportunities for months, and major institutions will move to a more defensive portfolio. There will be a lot of people selling.

You can't say to hold the top and justify it by pointing to the money you would have made by buying the dip. I'm saying not to buy/hold the top and wait for the dip to come in before buying back in.

There is always the risk of buying the local top. Always the risk of the price continuing to move up. That's why it's best to DCA.
