If there's a real recession, I could see it going this low. If not, maybe it stabilizes around $40k? I think the liberation day thing has a lot of people ready to slurp any dips, so it's going to be tough for any asset class to fall to much unless shit's truly fucked.

If there's a recession shit's going way down, perhaps $10k with Saylor getting liquidated
A lot of buttcoin companies with BTC Treasuries will be forced to sell to finance debt

I could see $10k if things get ugly. Regular investors will need to use the money for living expenses, normies will lose interest because there won't be any get-rich-quick opportunities for months, and major institutions will move to a more defensive portfolio. There will be a lot of people selling.

I think bulls are forgetting that we hit $75k just a few months ago from a week of bad news. Imagine what months of pain would do.

Notice that if you bought in 2021 it would have taken you 3 years to make your money back.

Yeah, if you bought the literal top
>buying the top and being patient: rewarded
>buying the downslide and being patient: rewarded
>buying the bottom and being patient: rewarded
gee sounds like there's a common theme here or something

It's almost like being patient gets you rewarded, and depending on how bad your entry is becomes how patient you have to be.

And if you regularly bought every fortnight between then and 2024 you'd have made quite a large profit

You can't say to hold the top and justify it by pointing to the money you would have made by buying the dip. I'm saying not to buy/hold the top and wait for the dip to come in before buying back in.

It doesn't matter unless someone is buying the top with their entire life savings and won't have any additional money to invest with for years to come.
There is always the risk of buying the local top. Always the risk of the price continuing to move up. That's why it's best to DCA.
