Talk to the cops, the bank, and a lawyer. The scam wasn't actually through crypto, just a fake crypto platform. It's not impossible to claw back money from stuff like this. Hell, you could try just lying and saying your computer was hacked and you didn't authorize any of the transfers. Most banks will personally refund you if something like that happens.

crypto is open source, meaning that you can compile your node from source
contracts on DeFi are also opensource
you don't jut execute the bytecode, you can see the whole solidity/ vyper contract
it's the same for tendermint-based chains contracts, you see more than just the bytecode

These operations are run by organised crime out of Cambodia (cambodian police and government are all corrupt as fuck and work for the criminals) and they close up and delete all paper trails faster than they setup.
The crypto is transferred for fiat legally through exchange accounts of people they force to work for them, people with gambling debts etc. It's all then taken out of the accounts as cash and goes through the organisations typical laundering process.
So it's only possible to retrieve anything under these few conditions,
>victim is able to file a police report and get binance/coinbase/whatever exchange to freeze the accounts that received the scammed crypto, police then properly present the case and exchange will return the stolen crypto
Unlikely because a boomer dumb enough to fall for this scam is also too dumb to follow transactions on the chain and act fast enough to get fraud detectives involved to help

It's not a simple "double your gp" scam like in runescape or wow.
It's a sophisticated network of legitimate looking platforms that can be googled and dozens of medium articles etc will pop up talking about how revolutionary it is etc.
The idiots who get scammed are emotionally manipulated into investing by someone they meet online after some time of talking and becoming close to each other. In most cases it's idiot boomers who think "they still got it" because a 30yo beautiful woman has taken a romantic interest in them, or a lonely career woman who has finally found a "perfect guy" that ticks all the right boxes. The scammers slowly warm them up to the idea of investing after showing off their success over the course of a month or two.

I've done a lot of research into these kinds of scams and it's all very sophisticated. They are run like an actual corporation, with experienced psychologists preparing scripts and playbooks for the scammers to use.

It's all done by Chinese triads operating out of Cambodia with kidnapped workers. It's not some jeet call centre scam asking for Amazon gift cards.
