I am not a student but im thinking about going back because ai must make the whole process so god damn easy

But what for? Who would pay for you having that knowledge, when AI applies itself better to business?

student, machanical engeneering.
AI is cool and can explain a lot. Its much better than i am in mathematics or coding. But it fails even first semester in stuff like statics. And AI cant invent new machines nor does it think the same way engeneers do. Im not worried

It can map diffuse inputs to outputs better than humans in most economic tasks now, up from being a total unusable joke in 2021. A year ago, it couldn't plan out and execute a few steps of a task, now agents are just semi-retarded at doing so. Why can it not jump to superhuman problem solving skills from this month's stage, while trillions are poured into training?

Serious, most sincere answer with 25 years of waging experience, 15 of owning and running a company: Invest any money you have into plastic surgery, and train "social skills" every day, like really try, for years. That's all. Do not waste your time getting hard skills.
