If you sit for 10 years on a good house then the renter is basically responsible for paying your property tax and maintenance costs. you are using them to grow equity. if you wait enough you could make back what it's worth now and then some; contributing handsomly to top tier fanny, a lambo and whatever else tickles your fancy
