its not a bubble, its resources being redirected towards the most efficient use - the new AI capabilities
imagine for a moment if somebody invented a new car engine that gets 1000 miles per gallon, then everyone started buying those cars and the total expenditures on those cars went super high
it would not be a bad thing (except to people who sold the worse cars that nobody wants anymore)
it would be a good thing because now everyone has more capability to travel cheaper
just like AI gives us more capability to do things more efficiently

When it "pops" not much will happen for the normies or us. Some companies might go under but this would only impact like 0.0001% of the population. Stocks might dip, but they'll bonuce right back. And like after the dotcom bubble shitstorm with the new "internet tech", AI will continue.

If it pops, be ready to BUY. It's weird though, because it's not a guaranteed pop.

The infrastructure for AI already exists though. So that doesn't make any sense.

30% of the S&P 500 is tech that is overvalued due to AI hype.
the largest market cap company on the us stock exchanges is nvidia.

Who do you mean? Sam Altman and his besties? Every time I try to do something more efficiently to get some money after 20 years of Stem career and education were devalued without media or politics even caring, some US VC backed enterprise has already done it and distributed it across the globe to every potential customer. And since spring this year, AI applies itself, so "I" can't even "do" anymore.

Nvidia is 20x PE, Cisco was 100x PE when it popped during the bubble. Nvidia is the backbone of AI at this point, and gaming, and it will continue to be for the near future.

It's only efficient if the so-called AI leads to drastic improvements in efficiency. Otherwise is it the most wasteful thing in history. It's a huge gambit and we have good reason to doubt that the faggots in charge even want to improve things.

PE isn't the only metric that can identify a bubble.
>We have experienced periods where we receive a significant amount of our revenue from a limited number of customers, and this trend may continue. Sales to direct Customers A, B and C represented 12%, 11% and 11% of total revenue, respectively, for fiscal year 2025, all of which were primarily attributable to the Compute & Networking segment.

34% of nvidia revenues for FY24 were attributed to 3 big tech customers. 90% of their FY24 revenues were attributed to their compute and networking segment (as opposed to the graphics segment which is consumer gaming hardware) per their disaggregation of revenue footnote.

what do you think happens to nvidia stock price if the AI bubble pops and demand for their GPUs drops 90%?
