Go look at commissioned work for online artists. The types who only a few years ago would charge hundreds of dollars for a simple drawing of a shirtless bara character.
I can now pay $20 and get enough credits to generate a hundred images with a simple prompt. The pool has absolutely dried for these people and they are still seething. The butthurt is so great, some of them are discord or reddit mods and they will outright ban anyone who even suggests using AI to create images.
Adoption doesn't always start at a corporate level. Consumerization is a thing.
