What the fuck? I haven't checked CS prices in years. I bought 4000 of these fuckers at an avg of .30 cents because I just liked how they looked. I bought a fuck ton of Copenhagen and entropiq too. Is CS having it's crypto era? Everything is pumping like crazy. My inventory is over 500 grand lol

You buy cases etc and sell them online for real money. 500k on steam would probably only be 200k irl

Buy steam decks and resell them

Steam managed to make trading such a pain in the ass I'd hate to be trying to sell 4000 items.

never been better due to Chinese and Russians and big crypto whales spreading their wealth into CS. I have a good feeling these Stockholm stickers will be in the hundreds if I wait 2 more years. The liquidity on steam is misleading because most volume is across third party sites (that also allow you to sell for real cash or bitcoin). It's on par with the liquidity of some random shitcoin, maybe a little better.

I appreciate the advice, CS is here to stay, biggest game on steam by far and Valve is starting to update it like crazy and is full on pandering to the skin market because they know it's the only reason the game is so huge. If it doesn't work out, I don't really care, I save/invest 90 grand a year from my job. I make close to 200k/year and live with parents.
>>60739344
more like 330 grand after everything, still not bad, I only put int a few thousand a few years ago. Basically over 100x.

congrats op. i've played CS:GO (now CS2) since about 2012 when it first released. I have a fuckton of cases from back then.

My inventory rn is worth about $2k. Never bought a single in-game item.

Currently wondering if I cash out the $2k or just continue to hodl. Honestly $2k is nothing so no action needed I think.

I'd just hold, might be worth a comical amount in a few years. I think CS is experiencing it's trading card/crypto era atm. Prices will inflate to crazy numbers and just stay there.

that doesn't mean this shit isn't going to never tank

and after a dumps there is no guarantee that these items will recover or exceed their current value because like shitcoins, there are millions of candidates for liquidity

if I'm in such a shit ecosystem with multiple 100ks I'm looking for ways out, not ways to stay in . nfa
