kek. i waited tables for 3 months. i hated it but i had highest appetizer and desert sales for a few weeks because i would just stop caring and harass people to buy appetizers and deserts. then i had a bad night, dropped a tray of drinks like a retard, and had an absolute meltdown and walked out and never came back. they kept me on the schedule for another few weeks.

I make about 42-49 an hour. I live in a state that pays 16.66 per hour for servers. Satanists run my state. Anyways, the money is good but this industry is the definition of insanity. Walk up to multiple groups of people you don't know, pretend to be their friends, take their orders, be overly busy, see more people walk in, get pissed internally, walk up happily greet them, rinse and repeat like a 1000 times in a single shift. I'd rather just work for government and make the same
