As a hispanic, I have a lot of good memories from those days. Not only that but things were very simple. For example, most classes were 50% males 50% females. There was one female for every male. Very comfy. And playing sports with your friends was fun.

Worst part being that violent scumbags got away with behavior that would land them in prison if they got tried as adults. I never ever want to send any children I have into that system, it's basically a prison. If I can get rich then it'd be easy to just homeschool.

Public school really is an atrocity. Just a massive prison style culture and environment. We need to break it back down.
In an ideal world schools are much smaller, you just have cells of ~100 students max from any given area doing structured work under supervision and building deeper bonds with each other and their teachers. Instead the trend is the other way, bigger bigger bigger and fatter fatter fatter admin salaries.
