Young men are the most gaslit group of individuals on the planet.

Society, in order to propagate its wretched self into the future, has convinced droves of young men to MAX out their 401(k)'s and ROTH IRA's, FULLY KNOWING they cannot touch that money until they are geriatric fucks that can't even enjoy it. Many of them won't even make it to 60+, and have to be lucky enough to live longer.
To continue, this same society taxes you to fund benefits you cannot enjoy until mid 60's.
And to continue again, this same society DEBASES the fucking currency every year on top of taxing you ON TOP of shoving all the rest of your money into "retirement accounts."
And if that wasn't enough you then have to pay sales tax.

FUCK no I'm not shoving my hard earned currency into retirement accounts. I'm far richer shoving that shit directly into BTC and crypto, and will retire by 33 years of age.

Society tells young men to act in a way that benefits its own advancement, not in a way that benefits the individual man.
Young men were convinced to go overseas and die on some foreign shore in world wars - not because they wanted to be shot to death, but because society gaslit them into believing they were "serving a noble cause".

I contribute to my employers 401k match and have maxed the tax free contribution to my Roth IRA. Nothing crazy. I'm 28 and have a $62k in retirement and $266,220 invested outside of retirement

why wouldn't i take free money? maxing a 401k and ira isn't even 3k a month. if you want to live a middle class life after waging for 40 years that's the bare minimum to eek out an meager existence with a paid off house.

it's a shitty joke that what used to be middle class is now upper class only, the basics like owning a house and car. the average first worlder spends 50% on wants and saves 5%, if had a summer's day IQ they'd be doing the opposite.
