dividend necromancers arise! annualized distributions: COYY 204% TSYY 146% HOOW 125% XBTY 104%. dump $25K in each & wait till you get your money back in a year or less and then reinvest & compound them infinitely. move your $100k initial onto another ultra yield weekly etfs. repeat...

Thatโ€™s one Iโ€™m considering. How much has it paid YTD? Total?
Picrel is the complete distribution history of BITO through August.
$3/sh in 2023
$14/sh 2024
$5.5/ sh in 2025 so far. If BTC holds 110k I think it will reach $9-10/sh EOY

even if the divvy goes down over time as btc gets less volatile (assuming this happens) you would have compounded so many shares over the years you'll still have a fat payout

It wonโ€™t outperform BTC but it automates profit taking. I sell itm calls eom if the option premiums are mispricing the expected distribution. Helps to recover loss from drag roll/1% exp/ taxes.

Iโ€™m hoping I can live off the divvys when I retire in 2035 without having to sell any actual crypto. If I get to 100k shares it only needs to pay $2/year to be comfy. Assuming inflation doesnโ€™t result in 200k/yr being poverty tier.

nice anon. high yield weekly/monthlies are a compounding play. this seems to be lost in the mix when these products are discussed, its all whats my divvy this week or "nav erosion" (fake term)

pretty sure a lot of anons doing what you're doing or compoudning their MSTY stack are gonna be sitting pretty AND won't have to sell key assets

You're being scammed idiot.
NAV erosion is real and the only way to overcome it is a strategic dividend loop.
If you DRIP more than like 10-20% of the divvy back into these funds you will bet at a net loss overall

its a fake term. for the single stock etfs it happens only when the price goes down on the underlying. when it appreciates where is the "nav erosion"? it doesn't exist

Thatโ€™s the hope anyway.
Iโ€™m almost looking forward to the next bear. It seems to me that a futures etf like BITO would be able to capture upside on repeat. That is, you could hold 1 BTC and it could go from 115k back to 60k back to 115k and youโ€™d be back where you were.

But BITO canโ€™t pay a negative dividend. The share price can collapse. But the way the divs are calculated is based on a fiscal year calendar, where all profits must be distributed. Losses are only reflected in the share price. So it would pay you on the way back up each time.
Thatโ€™s my hunch anyway. It hasnโ€™t seen a bear market since it started paying dividends. But I think like you mentioned the low volatility in the future would still generate income.

And if saylor is even 25% correct in his prediction, 1 BTC worth of BITO would pay more than enough for a middle class lifestyle.
>>60761119
I acknowledged that it loses ground against the underlying. I have a lot of self custodied underlying. I donโ€™t want to sell it. I just want dollars automatically deposited in an account to buy groceries and gas someday. Frictional losses are fine by me. I know itโ€™s not a free lunch.
20% behind BTC and falling. I get it. I also get 10k next month.

You guys really think the jews will let you neet off of divvies that easily?
There's NAV erosion AND yield decay. You lose both share price and returns.
Don't be a fucking retard plebbitors, DRIP is not something you should be doing unless a stock/fund meets very specific parameters.
You need a yield ladder and NAV anchor to avoid getting kiked.
Why do you think I developed the YIELDLOOP (tm)

goal isn't income nows its to leverage compounding for big total returns in years to come. buy during dips e.g. rsi at 30 reinvest distributions consistently and hold through uptrends assuming a long-term bullish outlook on the index/stock to avoid losses from prolonged declines
