while you are correct AI is anything but, this is poor example. the real AI projects actually are software, but are MUCH farther from true AI than people think

The interesting thing is that this kind of service would actually be great. Just a low barrier of entry chat, like chatGPT, except with a proper human programmer instead of a dumbass machine.
Have them write some mundane functionality at the same time as I work on something else. Have their system automatically route me to the employee with relevant experience in the field when I ask niche questions. Sounds super convenient. According to google they charged just $49 per month. Basically having access to an actual human programmer assistant for just $49 per month? Hell fucking yes.
