>>60762762>you can go almost anywhere for $3000 a month staying in nice hotelsWhereabouts do you travel?
In southern ontario, I think that'd be impossible or a very unfun unexperience. Nice hotel price average at like $100 USD/night and that's your entire budget gone, no money for food or transportation or doing anything. I guess you can go cheaper but the niceness of the hotel drops pretty quickly, anything below $70/night and you're getting smelly rooms, bed bugs, low water pressure, dirty/stained rooms/bedding/towels, and that only gives you $30/day which really isn't much. Just eating out is like $10/meal, then there's the cost of transportation, taking an uber or renting a car will blow you way over budget.
Maybe if you booked out a room in an airbnb for a month you could get the price down to $1100USD, assuming they don't hit you with random bullshit fees, that would leave enough to travel around and eat and cook.
