I sold all my BTC when it hit 436k just before the second revolutionary war. Best decision I ever made.

If that really was the bullrun and we get the typical bear market next year then crypto unironically is done. BTC just went sideways the whole year and got outperformed by tradfi, while all other crypto went down-only.

it means it fully decoupled. Which means it'll only go higher. It won't be under $100k again - it already tested that.

The relationship was fraying all year, but fully 100% decoupled since October-November

>if my short term biased prediction which would make me lots of money doesn't pan out, then uh
>bitcoin/crypto is over
you are dense as fuck
solving the double spend issue and cryptographic distributed proof of work/stake ledgers are forever
sorry you're too stupid to realise what happened in 2009

also, while it's not exactly clear if bitcoin or chainlink, for example, will last throughout the entire first digital revolution (next 15-25 years), you can be absolutely sure that distributed ledgers which solve the double spend issue (base blockchain technology) is the future of secure and advanced financial systems

shaking out short-term, low time preference pump-chasers is a good thing
the technology doesn't need a fanbase, and it doesn't need friends with deep pockets to eventually take it's rightful place amongst the other world-changing technologies that have shaped the future of humanity

The all time high for Bitcoin was last month
