/QIG/ Quantum Insiders General
>MAKING MONEY FROM QUANTUM VOLATILTY

This is the first Quantum Insiders General. I would like it to be a place to combine our autism for making easy money from the most volatile stocks as well as technical discussions about the technology itself.
>Right now, RGTX and RGTZ stock movements are very delicious. - MONEY NOW
The Predictable up-down mid-day switches are an incredible money opportunity. Obviously in a bubble, it may go down all day until the market makers want to exploit some volatility for easy gains and pump it.

>The BIG Technical Question Mark - ERROR CORRECTION
News from Google and Many others right now is that error correction modules running in feedback with the main processor will be the answer for the large amounts of quantum noise.
There are pessimistic reports about the progress, with many technical experts pessimistically lamenting that the error correction modules would eventually need correction modules of their own as well.

>The Quantum Computer for DUMMIES - An MRI Machine

TLDR - I could talk about quantum forever, I wonder what knowledge other people have.

D-Wave says they can "basically" compute hashing algorithms with their computers and are "definitely much closer than 20 or 15 years away" they say.

Key word "basically"?

I'm just accumulating IONQ for the moment.

>IONQ
When did you start doing that? It's been going down down down with the little fake pumpies. You really would want to shift back and forth between IONQ and IONZ.

What's the goss on Quantum Algos?

Error Correction Algorithms is seen as the most important right now, as will be needed to scale the advancement of any others.

Not sure what your technical background info is.
But Quantum Algos are basically the same as electrical circuits. Just different things rather than charge, mag-fields, etc.

I've been accumulating since early 2024. But the price doesn't interest me much at the moment; I'm trying to reach 500 shares. I think it could become the undisputed leader in the field in about ten years. It's a risky bet, but the potential reward is worth it.

i'd bet $1000 this is the first and last QIG.

i remember the dish network generals they will last longer than this bs

Colloquial, but well read.

What kind of barriers are Error Correction systems facing at the moment?

To put it simply: it's a way to store information with an extremely low error rate. It allows for the control of qubits.

Photonics instead of Super conduction. Familiar with both to an extent, Photonics industry is absolutely PUMPING now. I think it may be the future.

It is a scaling problem for anyone using the superconducting method. The quantum correction algorithms are mathematically correct, but will quickly require millions of qubits. Industry Leaders can make several hundred qubits a day maximum. The problem is that each wafer can only hold about 30-50 qubits, and they need to be either diced, or combined, somehow, at scales which would make the end computer acres long.

D-Wave CEO sounds like a travelling salesman, and called out by Nvidia CEO haha.

Off the top of my head; If the correction methods are sound, Omega chips come to mind as a baseline for this example for warm, lower cost computers; Run the exact same Q code across 3 (hypothetical) machines and apply consensus, bypassing fidelity problems from Q to Q with Q to C to Q by drawing the state of the "correct" 2 systems to apply to the altered computer.

Sure, you have 3 quantum computers running at the same time now, but the exact same qubit error at the exact same time is exceedingly unlikely.

I'm sure industry experts could come up with sophisticated applications.

Damnnn bro this is like real technical quantum algorithm math? That's based bro I don't even know about that. I'm more knowledgeable about the manufacturing process.
