People who need AC to "survive" 30*C come from weak bloodline and are not gonna make it.

Low to mid pricepoint restaurants usually give bread for free but I've been to a few upscale spots that have bread and butter on the menu as a starter, usually with cornichons or radishes.

in japan and korea you get free appetizers with most of your meals and you don't have to live in the US. they also give you tons of ice.
