Redpill me on the paleo-carnivore diet. How tf do you avoid getting worms?

1. staying up to date with and using modern, hygienic practices when raising and preparing your own meat
2. buying meat from a butcher/store that sources from reputable farmers (anything usda certified is good to go)
3. cooking all wild-caught or questionably sourced meat

There's nothing "bad ass" about being a burden on the health care system because you wanted to get famous on tiktok for making a Jackass video eating roadkill or defying vaccine mandates or whatever shockingly anti-social shit is trending.

>Redpill me on the paleo-carnivore diet.
It's debunked. We now know paleo is revisionist history fantasyland. Plenty of evidence of stomach contents of ancient man that he 1) ate wild and cultivated grains both, fruits and vegetables the same as we do. and 2) didn't live as long as we do now.
>How tf do you avoid getting worms?
Well RFK found out with a brain scan, some people get urine, blood and colon samples.
Pro tips: Never eat undercooked or raw meat from animals that can or could carry parasites. Get an instant read thermometer for home use and know safe temps for all things, and for dining out, have to be more cautious when ordering your food choices, and checking your food. Be a bit more more aware for restaurants skipping basics like handling money and food service items at the same time, cross contaminating, and little things like if your table was disinfected between use, or cutlery looks clean, that kind of thing. If i see "dishwasher wanted" sign on the door or the bathroom isn't nicely clean and stocked, then, red flags. Wash your hands for 2 full minutes when visiting a restroom before eating, and insist your family does the same. Do not handle any waste or clean restrooms at home or at work without disposable gloves? Did you skip microbiology in school?

Causation =/= correlation.

Just because you eat raw water logged racoon meat you find washed up on the beach and also happen to have worms, it doesn't mean it gave you worms.

If anything, it's likely a preexisting worm infestation is what compelled him to eat the meat in the first place.

You're confusing paleolithic with neolithic. This is about PALEO diet not NEO diet. Oldest human is like 300,000 years old, paleo ended 12,000 years ago. There were no cultivated grains for 95% of human history, and having access to fire for cooking was by no means a certainty.

You find a dead animal, you eat it. Simple as. That's paleo.

the real paleo diet was whatever you could find growing, hopping, flying, swimming, or running you ate. they ate lots of grubs, bugs, and very fibrous foods. paleolithic coprolites look like rope.

Traditionally people would use spices and herbs known to kill worms. A lot of this traditional knowledge was lost during the Baby Boomer era.
Picrel: a roast ham embedded with cloves, a spice known to kill pork tapeworms.

it seems like pretty much any spice or herb has anti-parasitic properties.

i don't think anyone was eating raw ham though. you don't really have to worry about worms if you're cooking your food.

There's still a risk eating "mealy pork" even if you cook it thoroughly. Encysted pork worm larvae are incredibly hardy, they are immune to digestive acids and everything our immune system can throw at them. They have evolved alongside us for millions of years, specifically evolved to get inside of us and survive and procreate for many years. They only infect pigs *because* we eat pigs, they cannot complete their lifecycle inside pigs. Their goal in infecting pigs is to be eventually consumed by humans, their final host species.
It's terrifying and disgusting but also a testement to advanced evolution.
Beautiful in a way.
t: parasitologist, that's why I don't eat pork

Even if that was true, it's completely unnecessary in modern times because these animals are not permitted to contain worms, and any food with worms in it would not be sold.
>>21535355
fascinating bullshit, but pork is safe to eat. People are not being discovered full of worms and worm eggs. But you avoid bacon if you feel safer that way. More for us.

It's only a problem in third world country where the slop they feed the pigs includes leftover body parts from other slaughtered pig, roadkill, random garbage, etc. There hasn't been a case of trichinosis from domesticated pork(if you eat wild boar or feral hogs you make sure to cook the living shit out of them) in north america since the early 90s and that was a freak outlier.
And of course, it's only a concern if meat isn't fully cooked.

This is stupid, performative bullshit done only by the most insecure pussies you'll ever meet in your life. Cavemen used fire to cook their kills, cooking reduced parasite ingestion and increased the bioavailability of the nutrients within the food, letting early man grow larger and smarter. Cooking is what has allowed humanity to flourish all over the globe. There are tons of foods that are completely inedible raw, but are nutritional powerhouses when cooked. This shit pisses me off so fucking much, seeing more and more of this stupid nonsense every year just reminds me of "the beautiful ones" in the mouse utopia experiment.
