Is quite a way off, but how do you all feel about a thanksgiving sandwich? Not the crap you can buy at a gas station, but one you make yourself. I take the turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes and cranberries and throw it on a loaf of Italian bread. No condiments. Then I fry it up with a load of butter. It’s the second best thing about thanksgiving for me since everyone is sent back home with a ton of leftovers since everyone in my family is cooking for this one day. So much food, way more than Easter or Christmas. It’s the one holiday where no one is competing, everyone just wants everyone to eat and have a good time. I know some people like a thanksgiving sandwich cold, some psychos put mayo on it, some people don’t add cranberries. What do you guys like?

I love it. I actually made a thanksgiving pizza last or last last year and it was so good. Cranberry sauce does something to it, and for the longest time I never understood why it was a staple but now I do. It just works so well with everything. Balancing out everything else that's savory.

I keep it simple. White meat and mayo, maybe some cheese, on whatever rolls or other bread is available.

One year we had some garlic dill cheese curds so I added those.

>psychos put mayo on it
It's better when it's a turkey salad with onions etc
But I do love a thanksgiving or christmas leftover sandwich. I like it with excessive amounts of cranberry sauce.

I used to live near a pizzeria that did a Thanksgiving pizza around that time of year. Actually very good.

it just works so well. same with breakfast pizza. I mean realistically, I don't think there's much you can do besides sandwich and pizza, maybe even burrito. But yea, I love thanksgiving leftovers so much. don't need to make food fora few days, it's nice.

>mayo
It kind of ruins the flavor combo but I agree, if it’s just left over thanksgiving turkey. Also a dark meat turkey salad is amazing. Unfortunately my family has taken to deep frying turkey and it kind of ruins it for me but everyone else seems to love it

I only ever use the rolls to make Thanksgiving turkey sliders.

i hate soggy sandwiches, i hate soggy bread, why would i ever add 'stuffing' to my sandwich?
the mild amount of cranberry with cream cheese and turkey can be nice.
