is there any good recipe for making this kind of pizza? the kind that you would find at chucky cheeses or a skating rink that held children's birthday parties? the way the cheese burns there, the pimply burnt distribution, i have a real nostalgic hankering for it.

i know exactly what you mean and i think what makes pizza this way is the dough. it's very thick and chewy crust. maybe it's just pan pizza, idk. i've never had fazoli's but i know exactly what kind of pizza it is from that pic.

This. The reason these pizzas were available at establishments that don't specialize in pizza is because those places only had regular ovens. If you baked that pizza in a coveyor oven like pizza chains use, or a true pizza oven, it wouldn't be the same.
