I just hate this guy. I don't want to do the same critique "whites can't cook/have no culture" that leftists do but c'mon, man.
Im european and its just completely alien to me the way he cooks. He has access to the same ingredients as me at a better price, but he can't help it and just do some melted cheese slop.
It's like white americans have no concept of what a balanced home cooked meal should look like. Personally, i blame it on their anglo/germanic heritage, the french part of america has good food.

How many people is this creature feeding for $8? Cuz our dinner tonight was
• a 2.67lb meatloaf with plenty of leftovers ($8 for the meat, $1 for the additives and seasonings; $9 total, about 90¢ per serving)
• mushroom-and-meatloaf-drippings gravy with leftovers (about $1.70 total, about 43¢ per serving)
• cauliflower mashed potatoes with leftovers ($2.65 total, 45¢ per serving)
• garlic-sauteed spinach in olive oil with leftovers ($2.45 total, 49¢ per serving)
• butter-braised baby carrots with leftovers ($1.35 total, 34¢ per serving)
That's $2.61 per dinner plate.
I have to calculate it like that because the number of servings of each constituent part of the meal varies. There are ten servings of meatloaf but only six of the mash and four of the gravy, for example.
If his $8 feeds less than three people, he's not saving any money shopping at Dollar Tree
