Best Bang For Your Buck Fast Food?
Has anyone made a list of fast food meals where you can actually get the best bang for your buck in terms of quantity/calories when you taking cooking expenses into consideration? McDonalds burgers are tiny while their prices have increased so you get less for your dollar. What are some fast food meals where it's semi-convenient to just buy the meal outright rather than buy the ingredients yourself and prepare and cook it on a stove?

In Australia at least the best bang for buck is when KFC put up their $25 deal for 8 chicken pieces, 6 nuggets and then four sides. Pizza Hut do a 2 pizzas + drink + garlic bread for $27 so that might also be it.
Of course, the calories are all fat, salt and sugars so none of this is good for you.
The undisputed king of calories without being too unhealth and usually quite cheap is going to be a BBQ chicken from whatever store has them cheapest.

That's gonna be soda. You simply pull up, drink as much as you can, and you've nabbed 250 cal per 12 oz. With a summer deal a large at McDicks was $1 (I think the large was like 30-40 oz or something), but for easy math we'll say its 36 oz plus ice that won't count. That's 750 cal in one drink. Refilled, 1500 cal. Refilled one final time: 2250. 3 full drinks, $1, 2250 cal, exceeding the daily allotment for calories for an adult (on average). For 1 dollar. Full price it's more like $3, but soda is going to be your calorie maxxing assistant.

Here, AI can do that for you:
The Hardee's Fried Chicken 12-piece with six biscuits is often cited as one of the most calorie-dense fast food items, exceeding 6,000 calories.

Right now the McDonald's 6 USD value menu is king. Fast food is a luxury now.

A two entree plate from Panda Express is $6 with a promo where I live. That’s a shit ton of food for the money. Subway footlongs are $7 with promo. KFC has 8 tenders or pieces of chicken for $10 on tuesdays. Dominos has any large pizza for 10.99 up to 6 toppings. And then there’s various other local deals, like a taco Tuesday, or the local joint that does a great large cheese pizza for $10. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

$7 is a good deal if there's not some weird restriction on it. The $5 footlong deal, in current money would cost $7.30, at least by official inflation figures.

The original dollar menu was introduced in 1989, which is equal to about three dollars now. Haven't been in Wendy's in a while so not sure how many of these you can get for $3.

Can't you fat faggots just make some scrambled eggs or something? The only reason to eat this goygruel as an adult is if you're driving across state lines and forgot to pack food in a cooler

If you're interested, this is my step-by-step guide to cooking the All-Bengal Women's Union first-class egg curry. And now I'm adding, first of all, some chilli powder and then some turmeric. Now here's the interesting thing. I'm adding my boiled eggs now, and the reason for that is I want them to pick up the colour as well as the flavour from the chilli and the turmeric. Now I'm just going to add some onions and cook them out a little bit. And now some ginger and some chilli. Now some liquid in the form of coconut milk. To flavour that, a teaspoon of sugar and a teaspoon of salt. Let it bubble away for about three to five minutes just to thicken. And then I'm going to finish the dish off with a sprinkling of garam masala and some coriander and that's it. This takes no preparation of course, apart from boiling a few eggs. So I sort of think it's almost like: "Shall I have
>scrambled eggs
tonight or shall I have curried eggs?".

I worked at BK when Wendy's came out with their $0.99 menu. It freaked our managers out. We had a $0.99 sandwich of the day promotion but it was a different sandwich each day so you'd better be in the mood for a Whaler if you came in on Friday.
Not sure I ever say the BK commercial you mentioned but it sounds a bit funny.

Around the same time Wendy's had a commercial that was like a soap opera parody, where a girl has to choose one of 8 sides like they're suitors. She picks the Caesar side salad with tears in her eyes.

It's always gonna be pizza. Can get two large 1 topping pizzas for $10 at Little Caesars or a big-ass costco pizza for the same price. Both are roughly 4000cal for $10. A lot of grocery stores also have a day, usually mondays, where they sell an 8pc fried chicken for $5-6.
