A Culinary Giant
Australia is one of the greatest countries in the world for foodies. With produce widely regarded as some of the best in the world, Australia has better Chinese food than China, better Thai food than Thailand, better Italian food than Italy, better British food than Britain and better barbeque than the US and that's before you get to the world-class seafood you can get right from your local jetty. Pair that with wines from regions regarded as on par or even better than Bordeaux, Burgundy or Champagne or desserts from country town bakeries as fine as those you'd find in the patisseries of Paris and you're on a winner. Australia is considered a leading culinary innovator, doing the whole 'restaurants serving local produce handpicked from the bush' decades before Europe.

Australian produce is so good that the EU freaked out and slapped massive tariffs on Australia to prevent high quality Aussie food from flooding their store shelves and completely outpricing the overly expensive, tasteless shit their worthless regions produce. Fuck Eurogroids.

I agree with lauding the produce, sæfood, and beef. Cuisine per se is not so good.

real beef, pork, lamb and chicken unlike the hormone injected, hyper processed slop used in the US = better quality BBQ

sure, you guys were blessed by the natural flora and fauna, but you’ve done nothing with it.

the only unique australian cuisines i can think of are things that already existed but with kangaroo in them and vegemite.

Ever notice how other countries grocery stores don't have an Australian food section? That because your food is shit quality version of stuff from better countries. You didn't a single dish your country is known for. There is a retarded Aussie that spams shitty cook along threads all the time and that's all the proof you need that Aussie food is shit and you people can't cook. They only people who hype your food is you. Literally nobody ever talks about Australian food. There is a reason for that.

don't listen to him, your food is better than 90% of the other trash posted here, and you actually try to make content out of it instead of just posting poorly lit slop like everyone else does. keep doing your thing bro.

Lmao you fucking retard.

I live here and I can tell you 99% of the food here is overpriced fucking trash. The best thing we have is plentiful meat, that's it.

Our fruit is tasteless
Our food isn't seasoned
All the flavors are nerfed to suit boomer palate. Just look at that menu's of your typical Thai restaurant.

Go to SEA and see what actual food tastes like.

Australia is a shithole and don't ever fucking forget it.

Yeah, it's all of those independent little diners that do almost the same food as the chains that's the heartbeat of the nation. But I'm sure you're well travelled enough to judge who's best. Snigger.

I'll be sure to visit my local Australian market or restaurant here in the U.S. OP. Oh wait, there aren't any. Even the poojeets have cuisine here but no sign of Oz. Hmmm.

Because Australian culture, at it's core, is the absorption of all culture.
Even our racism is a comical parody of genuine bigotry that you find in places like the U.S.
