>Heathcliff (the original mischievous orange cat) has made countless Garfield parodies >Garfield has yet to make A SINGLE Heathcliff parody Really shows who runs things in the comic strip industry
I just didn't like heathcliff and I just liked garfield. I have no rational or specific reasons. Garfield was great and heathcliff was just ok to boring.

>>148962680 (OP) Heathcliff is funnier, but Garfield is more relatable, even though he is more manufactured.
>>148968589 In the comic he's more of a criminal mastermind. In the show he was more of a gangster that got into a lot of fights, and pretty much won all of them with the exception of the saimese twin cats and their martial arts prowress.
>>148962925 Garfield, while friendlier, is basically a disgruntled office worker portrayed by a house cat actor. Heathcliff, refreshingly, acts like an actual cat.
>>148962680 (OP) Heathcliff is Kafkaesque kino, Garfield takes it more safe and often feels carried by fan-made parodies and memes There's some good Garfield stuff but I feel Heathcliff has more sovl
