I know this isnt the place to discus this, but traditional indigenous dances are so beautiful. I wish they had better representation in popular media. Not just the Hula, but the Maori Haka and the American circle dances are just so incredible to see.

The funny thing is you can see Lilo a lot more confident in her moves than Mertle who looks to be envious of Lilo. A native who's probably being doing dancing longer, Mertle not being a native.
Somebody in YouTube pointed that out. But I guess it does fit into the theme that are mostly deleted of Lilo hate for tourists. Mertle being a native Hawaiian compared to Mertle who is Hawaiian like Butters is kn the he was conceived in Hawaii.

I LOVE the heel, toe, heel, toe sequence as the kids step forward with their right legs. I know damn well they didn't do it in the remake. I'm not even sure it's physically possible.
