Superman can fly in space sure.
But what if he’s in the vicinity of a red sun or red solar radiation?
What if he’s has a non super passenger he has to take into space?
What if he’s needs to extract Kryptonite in space and he needs those long retractable arms to grab them?

If Wonder Woman has her invisible jet and Batman has the Batmobile and other vehicles, why can’t Superman use my favorite toy from childhood?
