Do normalfags honesty see live action as an upgrade?

hand drawn animation > live action > CG animation

I don't plan to see this movie since I'm not 11 years old, but I could see how people would prefer it.

got on the dating apps and if I can get a bitch to go see it then I'm making her suck my dick or pay for her own snacks. It's a win win because the only girl who would agree to a blowjob on the first date is same kind who would take advantage of a simp for buying her gifts. Make sure you choose an IMAX showing bitches love IMAX

The medieval filter makes it extra adult.

I watched this the other day at one of the early screenings they did on the 11th. It was mostly a theater of teens and adults. A few stayed after the credits since the lights didn't immediately go on, they showed an after credit scene that's like 5 seconds long of the sketch of toothless from the movie. A couple of the teens behind me were disappointed. Movie is good though, one guy up front literally clapped about 4-5 times at certain scenes, not a super loud annoying clap but audible enough that I could hear they were enjoying the movie without interrupting it at all.

Itโ€™s more like an addendum, like rollercoster rides and stage shows and and t-shirts and other merch. People watch it because itโ€™s part of the IP they recognize and enjoy.

Yes, normies have a bias against animation; many people don't even acknowledge cartoons. Mostly weirdos/manchildren/faggots gravitate to things like anime or toons because of escapism

It doesn't justify an uncannny shot for shot live remake of a cartoon movie like this

Hell isn't the dragon animated CGI, almost no no different than normies watching Avatar

Yes, same with video games. People see the original versions as the proof of concept/test version while the live action is seen as the true/real version.

I wouldn't watch either one, but if I had to be forced to choose at gunpoint, yes. I was like, 40 when the original came out, I don't have any love or nostalgia for it. Also, I hate CG cartoons.

This movie only exists to promote Epic Universe. Don't get too upset about it.

It's just a gimmick. People like cosplay. People like seeing cartoon worlds turned into sets. It's just that his gimmick has gotten super saturated so people think there's an ulterior motive behind it when it's just that Hollywood is so desperate, all we see are the gimmicks because nothing else is coming out.

Thereโ€™s a feedback loop of people thinking animation is for kids so it only gets made for kids so people think animation is for kids and so on. The exception is shitty โ€œadultโ€ animation like Sausage Party made for adult children. Even more mature animation has people making dream live action castings and stuff. Naturally we relate more to realism, but too many people hold it as the gold standard.
