>It's also a commonly-known fact that most deaths occur in or around the home. Since I am still wary while using tools, I make it a point to do all of my woodworking in the street, far away from my home. In addition, it may be anecdotal evidence, but I find that one hundred percent of the people who drive down my street are mean to people who are just trying to whittle in a safe spot

God i hate it
>planes are so safe bro
no they fucking are not, there are like six different ways to measure safety of transportation and planes most certainly are not number one in all categories

I think about like this: plane crashes are rare enough that they make international news. Car crashes are common enough that they barely make local news

What you refer to as "cars are more dangerous than planes" are actually car related deaths which include people being run over by cars, but also self-inflicted car crashes where no victim other than the driver is involved.
But more importantly, the vast majority of car crashes are niggers, in nigger neighbourhoods
Suffice to say, you are unlikely to ever wind up in a car crash but even less likely to wind up in a plane crash, unless a nigger is involved

There were less than 700 serious injuries in US air travel from 2002 to 2022. Wanna check how many car injuries there were?

I never knew what this comic was about, so whenever i saw a panel from it i thought that was supposed to be Pendleton Ward

There are also far more trips by road than by air.

A plane will not crash as often as a car but you have a far better chance of surviving a car crash than a plane crash. Also you have no control over a plane whereas you do have control over a car.

Safer than automobiles for sure, planes are better maintained, have more qualified pilots, and don't fly within 2 feet of each other

It's why they say it's statistically the safest way to travel vs. statistically the highest survival rate from accidents.
