In a previous thread an anon said they were open to suggestions for a /co/ webtoon recommendation list they're making: >>148997161

However the thread died while I was away, so I have to make a new one to discuss the topic.

please do not refer to webcomics as 'webtoons'
not only is that not what that means, but that means two things... A) a vertical-strip comic format popular in Korea, A2) the stuff made in Korea via slave labor that actually makes money, and B) the registered trademark of a website that features them
what you're looking for is 'webcomics'
and you need to put Pilli Adventure on the list. and Digger. and uhh... Whomp.

I'm not the one who made the list but its specifically about stuff in the vertical scroll format on that hosting site.

I haven't read those other 2, but I would definitely agree with putting whomp on the list, if the list was for webcomics in general rather than just webtoons

Those are all the same thing.
It's perfectly acceptable to call something a "webtoon" provided a Korean made it.

What about vertical scrolling comics made in America
Should you call them webtoons?

I hate to say it, but none of these look appealing to me.
The only one I've enjoyed so far was The Djinn (the gay Chinese one, not sure it counts as a webtoon).

>You can just give a list of names and I'll check them out
Here's some. I will list more later when they come to mind:
>Catgirl
>DeathSitter
>Hand Jumper
>Nocturne
>Paperteeth

I put these in a separate category since I'm not sure if we are only looking for western webtoons for this list, and I am not sure if stuff that left webtoons would qualify.
Korean:
>Sweet Home (and its prequel/spinoff Shotgun Boy)
>Hellbound

Used to be on webtoons, but now have their own site:
>Hello From Halo Head

I can make a recommendations for regular webcomics outside webtoons as well if you want. This list is all vertical scrolling stuff.
