Can he exist in the modern cultural climate?
Seems like a relic of the 70โs to 80โs, when movies like deathwish, taxi driver and Dirty Harry were popular because crime in cities was so out of control so the idea of murderous vigilantes was outright tolerated by the mainstream (even in real life)
Nowadays seems like the opposite. Also for some reason people want to abandon him because groups they donโt like adopt his symbol. Not logic I understand but thatโs the logic they use (why cede ground on a popular symbol?) with his skull being used by cops and such.
If anything I find it annoying that heโs now had multiple issues where he has to talk directly to cops to tell them he doesnโt like heckin fanboys and nobody should be like him, now going into his show even. As if those cops even read comics lol
