What does /co/ think of fan adventures, and what is their favorite one? Why? Recommendations? Ect.

I've only ever read three of them, but Karkat Goes to a Convention was kino. I love how the title makes you think it's just gonna be some dumb shitpost that will probably only be a few pages long and then it actually ends up being a whole thing.

Man it makes me so sad to see so many long fan comics that burn out because they introduced way too many characters or worse, started out with a bad story in the authors head. Leading to a sunk cost where the story cant be fixed. This is what happened to sburb: refresh which at least had the dignity of getting a rushed ending. Whatever dignity that means.

I find its shock aspects amusing. Few other fancomics show so many interesting ideas. Ya I do agree its got a big side character problem. That's why its my personal choice. When a comic like kgtac is so clearly better in pacing, quality and wrapping things up.

Prisounebound is pretty good I guess. Has some fun characters and the writing is well done

You're Someone is absolutely fantastic IMO but I am for that reason really fucking sad it appears to have died thanks to the author becoming busy/living their life. Great art, interesting writing in an interesting world, cool story and characters, but a pity how it's sitting dead now.
Hoxxesbound is excellent, cute in a way, great if you like DRG and funny even if you don't.
Ligmastuck's really good, funny and also meta at the same time.

There's an adventure called Conjoined Session.
Artstyle isn't sprite based so each page is unique and it sort of has this "Hylics" feel to it. Everything is strange and disturbed, everything is wrong but the characters don't know it yet. It has its unique charm to it.
There's also Beneviolent, which is hilarious
