Isn't that mostly just in comics? Daisy's usually nicer in cartoons.

She's supremely lucky he doesn't snap and strangle her in the night while thinking she's a Jap agent

Only out of protest because Disney won't ever let Donald have anybody else's characters as his girlfriend.

Like that Atlantean princess or various super spies.

But none of them are allowed to replace Daisy as Donald's permanent girlfriend. At best, Donald's allowed to flirt with them.

This is why I don't get why Euros only circlejerk comics as the only real Donald content
No offense I don't want to see Daisy being a cunt I don't want to see in scenes and Donald just being degraded by Gladstone and other cunts for no reason
Comics always portray the characters better and their worst content ever was in comics

>Why was she always such a bitch?
There are two reasons:

1. She is a female Donald, only with even more female stereotypes and was a parody of feminists for many writers. That's why she acted like a bitch. However, that doesn't mean Donald is better than her, because he is a big jerk who also belittled her many times. One of the reasons why Daisy became a superhero like She-Venger (Paperinika) is because Donald made fun of her that women can't be superheroes and she proved the opposite.

2. The relationship between Donald and Daisy can't work if they aren't jealous and angry at each other and so their comic relationship works better when they have such flaws. Take that away from them, they wouldn't be any different than Mickey and Minnie, they would be a boring love couple. This is how they work when they are angry at each other for some stupid reason.

I agree that there are exaggerations, but they are (Donald is no better than Daisy) and in my opinion they work much better than Mickey and Minnie. For those who think that Daisy is better in cartoons than in comics, I would say that they are wrong and that Daisy has the same advantages and disadvantages in both cartoons and comics (I will post about Daisy in cartoons in the next comment). In recent years, Daisy's personality in comics has been much better than it was 50 years ago or more when she was a complete bitch. But what unites them, and this is also an important point, are the children. Donald has his nephews, and Daisy has her nieces, and they have a lot of their own family problems, but they still understand their children and help them. If nothing else, Donald's nephews and Daisy's nieces, if Donald and Daisy were to break up, would help the two of them get back together.

>Daisy's usually nicer in cartoons.
When she first appeared in Mr Duck Steps Out she was good, but then they made her a bitch. So even in the classic shorts she was no different from her comic book self. That's why it annoys me when many people comment that the cartoon and comic Donald are not the same just because of his voice, and Donald practically acts the same in both cartoons and comics. You have "Crazy Over Daisy" with Chip and Dale when Daisy hits Donald for touching the little chipmunks even though the two of them were the ones causing the most trouble. In Donald's Diary when in Donald's dream Daisy married him, she acts towards Donald like a real bitch of a woman. However, there are exceptions like Donald's Dilemma when Donald became a superstar and chased Daisy away that even Daisy wanted to kill herself, but she still decided to get her Donald back and succeeded in doing so. However, in "How to Have an Accident at Work" Daisy was married to Donald and they had a son.

In Quack Pack, Daisy became a better character who was understanding of Donald, and was also a mother figure to Donald's nephews. However, she was a bitch there too, because she didn't like that Donald didn't pay enough attention to her. In House of Mouse, Daisy is just as great, but there too she had moments when she didn't pay attention to Donald as much as she did to Mickey and Minnie. In Paul Rudish's version of Mickey Mouse, Daisy was standard and had her moments, in Ducktales 2017, Daisy was even better because she was one of the few people who understood Donald, although unfortunately there wasn't as much focus on her for certain reasons. In the Cabs series, Daisy was mean to Donald just because she didn't know what Donald was really doing, until they finally got to the Yeti Spa Center and she forgave him afterwards. (Continued in the next comment)

(Continued from previous comment) In the end, Daisy is reduced to just being Minnie's best friend and Donald's legal girlfriend, because Disney doesn't want to expand her characterization. I'm really surprised why Disney doesn't allow Donald and Daisy's parents to be together, because it would make sense to me if they didn't allow them to be together. Daisy is certainly better in the cartoons, but that doesn't mean she wasn't a bitch there, but the relationship between Donald and Daisy works better when they both suffer from angry egos and their idiotic actions. And what unites them better are Donald's nephews and Daisy's nieces who are their companions and who have the best understanding for their parents. Except in Ducktales 2017, Daisy's nieces there are not even her nieces, but that's a long story (I don't like Ducktales anyway).

I thought about it because Daisy is too stereotypically a woman in the comics and was mocked as such. This was mocking feminists, and most of the writers of Donald Duck comics were men. That's how the impression was created that Daisy was bad in the comics.

Isn't this the one where Daisy humiliates Donald and PK in a public speech, so Donald teams up with Fethry to try to force a scenario where PK saves her, but instead gets kidnapped himself and has to be saved by her superhero persona?
