Remember when DreamWorks respected the viewer's intelligence by being subtle with its messages? The first Shrek movie didn't have the characters say stuff like "real beauty is what lies within" or "you don't have to follow the path others set for you"
KFP1 teaches some good lessons and also offers a very entertaining ride for the whole family. Meanwhile, KFP2 teaches some good lessons and that's about it. It's a boring movie.
