It's weird, because outside of Venus I didn't particularly hate the rest of their work relatively speaking. Compared to the borderline unreadable shlock that came before and the actually unreadable schlock that came after it was mostly judt kind of mediocre. It's just this particular character and the whole Jasper Barlow subplot where the arc really drops the ball.
