What was the premise of the movie going to be?
I've heard people say it was going to be mundane relationship stuff, but that doesn't seem like a reasonable followup to a movie with aliens.

That's all I remember from the animatics. So yeah, just a love triangle plot basically. The thing is, the original movie was just a generic Baseball movie for the first half before wildly pivoting into an alien invasion movie. So maybe the sequel would have been similar in how it handled the love triangle plot.

The window for a Disney's Chicken Little continuation is gone. I don't know why, but it just wouldn't feel right to try nowadays. It'd be like making a Sandlot sequel or something
