Stop making cartoons based off of media you consume as a child and start making cartoons based off of real life experiences that's political and relevant to your past or present culture, if you don't do that you're not a real artist and you can't make our cartoons lol.

>>149047777 (OP)I'm not allowed to make a cartoon based off the rich jews of the world influencing media trends, killing off good stuff and promoting bad stuff, and how every neighborhood goes to shit when the black people move in

This isn't entirely true. A degree of reality and personal experience adds humanity but referencing prior work for inspiration can help fuel the imagination.
A good artist is curious about the world around them and the things they can learn about and take inspiration from in general.
High Guardian Spice is a really good example because the influences it took weren't born out of being inspired by specific anime and characters, the creator was just like "I LOVE ANIME!" and then picked a handful of examples, mostly copy and pasting tropes and saying "this is such an anime character!" rather than trying to just make them good characters taking inspiration from other characters.
If you start a character with "and this is the tsundere", you're gonna get a generic tsundere regardless of where you get the inspiration
