Im like fairly sure there was more plans but they ended up canning it due to either production issues or just Hickman losing interest. There were a couple of plot hooks left dangling, like 2 of the FF were just missing instead of confirmed kill, Apocalypse staying behind on Krakoa instead of going to Mars, Hulk should also be able to survive. It felt like the book was building up for there to be survivors from earth that'd find a way off the planet and back up the main group before the Wakandans return or they'd find each other on another planet.

Wakanda showed up in part of issue 1 and most of issue 4. There weren't the focus at all. They weren't even the Deus Ex Machina Venom was. If anything it should've ended with T'Challa bringing a bunch of Kylntar to bond with the survivors to basically say "My aliens are better than your aliens"
