I really believe that it shouldn’t be hard to make a popular cartoon for both kids and adults. There is no big secret or inscrutable formula. Girls like romance and fashion and boys like Action and Violence. Literally every market research on demographics and basic common sense shows this.
LOL at fantasy being the most narrow gap between genders.
True.
>>149054913 (OP)I bet even the 'History' read by women is related to romance
>>149054913 (OP)Fantasy being so even surprised me
>>149054991Fantasy for women actually means romance fantasy with erotica.
>>149054913 (OP)On one side you have progressives who think having attractive people in any sort of media is literally Fascism and on the other side you have John K like Coomers who wants to pair sexy women with ugly cartoon men and so you can't win with either one, you have to force them to grow up or ditch them
>>149054913 (OP)It's harder than it looks, anon.
>>149056832>On one side you have progressives who think having attractive people in any sort of media is literally FascismNobody actually believes that
This is why western animation is on a decline, because they're focusing too much on the recipe to get everyone and their dog to watch one single show, instead of prioritizing whatever the main demographic should be.
>>149054913 (OP)>romance being so dam low for menLmao, you can tell men are too blackpilled on women nowadays to believe in the bullshit that's romance
>>149057437What the hell are you talking about? Name a recent series with real action and romance?
>>149056691Nah there's a lot of fantasy that's specifically aimed at women nowadays, especially in the YA space.
>>149054913 (OP)So the trick is to blend a female-popular genre with a male-popular one:
>History/Mystery thriller crime>Sci-fi/Romance>Business/Food>Political/Chick Lit
