>Spider-Man '94 is a four-issue limited series that picks up where the show's infamous cliffhanger ending left off in 1998.
>After searching to the ends of the Multiverse, PETER PARKER – the AMAZING, the SPECTACULAR, the RADIOACTIVE Web-Head himself – A.K.A. One of these villains is not like the others: Witness this universe’s debut of not one, but TWO of Spider-Man’s greatest villains from the comics!
It's just a 4 issue mini, about Spider-Man vs Morlun and another post-90s villain. Sounds awful.

So I guess, expect an animated continuation in 2035

Semper himself said it and had a script, whether it would've been approved or not is a different question, but I don't see why it would be made up.

I just hopes this leads to a proper animated series revival, the same way that the X-Men TAS comic continuation preceded ‘97.

I’m crossing my fingers for Sandman. He’s the only classic rogue that never made an appearance, thanks to Cameron’s Spidey script featuring him and Electro as the villains. They were able to squeeze Electro into the final season, but Sandman never got his shot.

They could use the plot from "The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man", as it was based on this series. So the other villain could be Scream.

There's another candidate: The Jackal.

Miles Warren debuted in the series, but never as the Jackal. After Spider-Man was taken for the Spider-Wars and the Secret Wars, his reality's Warren was shown with a piece of Spider-Man's suit, which could only mean trouble.

Semper’s comic work in recent years had been terrible. Very hokey dialogue and melodramatic stories. I wouldn’t mind him in a consulting role, though.

It only led to a short-lived appearance from Scarlet Spider during the final arc just so the writers could take a potshot at the Clone Saga. I think it's safe to say that ship has sailed.

Ignoring your poor taste regarding his season 6 ideas, Semper oversaw a show that not only introduced a whole generation of kids to Spider-Man, but made contributions to the mythos that persist to this day. Billions of dollars have been made on the back of those contributions, and he hasn’t even gotten a proper thank you.
