doom is obviously the thanos part, and story will follow his POV throughout
sam will be the steve analog with his team
i think yelena will be the tony analog with her team (filling in for banner/wong/peter)
thor will probably go on another quest (as this is the kino thor role) to find loki
F4 will be like wanda/vision
x-men will be like the wakandans
they'll all converge at the end and doom will shit on everybody

Marvel Legends’ Doomsday line seems to support this, but excluding Yelena and also featuring Invisible Woman, Human Torch, the Thing, Gambit and Shang-Chi as leads.

Lots of people online insisting that these are too box office stars, shut up, right until it underperforms and everyone acts like they knew it would all along.
Infinity War was made at a time when every MCU movie was a hit and they still made sure to have all their biggest stars in it. This movie seems to be a follow up to at least two underperforming movies (Cap 5 and Thunderbolts) with the remaining big stars either not signed yet or not having big parts.
The whole thing is based on the idea that Downey is a huge draw and no one has any idea what his star power will be when he’s not (probably) playing Tony.
Fox X-Men nostalgia better be bigger than any nostalgia in history.
