you'd think Top Gun Maverick and even that second James Cameron Avatar sequel, two movies that came out a year prior in 2022 would save the movie theatres after the pandemic, but they didn't really. I'd say the 2023 Hollywood disputes should've cause theatres to close down again instead of having the trouble to releasing them

Superman will make a billion. But it probably wont be a critical darling. Both because of the snyderbots angry about Cavill not being come back, and because of James Gunn removing 'the American way' from Superman's slogan.

There is nothing to suggest that it will even come close to making a billion. Even with the most optimistic pre-ticket sale calculations it won't even beat Man of Steel's opening weekend, which itself didn't make that much.
>But it probably wont be a critical darling
It most likely will. Critics love Gunn's film seven if they perform horribly (like Suicide Squad)

Yes, congress takes our tax dollars, gives it to Isreal, and then it's funneled back to them through donations and AIPAC. Not that this movie looks any good. To me it looks like an under performer. And since the last Batman movie did not reach a billion no way this Superman movie hits the billion mark. Batman is more popular than Superman.

Its a good thing to delete the American Way from Superman. What does the United States represent these days culturally? A bunch of shit KILLING the nation like...

Feminism and Women's Rights
Multiculturalism and Diversity
Tolerance of degenerate lifestyles like homosexuality.

It's all shit. And that's not even touching on international scandals that hurt the United States like the Iraq War or the US recently initiating a bombing of Iran. Seriously Superman needs to isolate itself from The American Way because North America has become sewage shit.

And that's BEFORE the Israel and Iran attacks. The bottom line is that Gunn is a divisive director to handle Superman and the movie having too many subplots shows a messy convoluted development for the story similar to Spider-Man 3.

not really great logic when Aquaman crossed a billion, when Batman vs Superman, the first Spider-Man and Logan didn't. Superman has obvious advantages over Batman, namely being more family friendly and not being a 3 hour noir movie that is essentially just Se7en with Batman and releasing in the middle of Summer.

I doubt it will though. Too much competition. Probably will get around 700-800m. Wouldn't be the most shocking turnaround though if it has amazing word of mouth and F4 is a flop, but again, I doubt it.

To each their own but the thing about Superman is that he's simply seen as a boring hero. That's his stigma along with having lackluster villains. And I don't see this new movie changing the minds of young generations. They have their heroes, Steve from Minecraft, Sonic, Mario, and other gaming characters.

Warner hasn't done anything to make Superman appealing. And if you ask me one of the reasons Superman has less appeal than other male characters is how he allows that shitty cunt Lois to bitch at him and treat him horribly. God what I wouldn't do for a series of Superman where Lois Lane does NOT exist.

Forgot to mention but another thing hurting Superman's popularity is how DC officially gave Superman a shitty gay son. That does not improve Superman's image. And then there's the infamous scandal about Superman being raped. All this shit has poisoned Superman's brand because the official owners of the copyrights have trashed it.

I'm not arguing Superman will cross a billion or whatever. I'm saying the logic of "X character isn't as popular so it can't happen" is dumb, when Aquaman of all fucking characters broke a billion. Besides I'm not even sure if that's even that true. Man of Steel had a great opening weekend, it had terrible legs because of divisive audience reactions, which suggests the issue was with the movie itself rather than Superman.

But again I don't think this movie is cracking a billion.

The real question is when will humanity especially Stupid White People learn to hate Jews? Because if the answer is never, then white people deserve genocide.

I would sooner spend money to save African Lions over stupid white people because they refuse to kill Jews.

I suspect the actual results will be disappointing for discussion, as in it'll get 700-800 mil around the same as The Batman and be successful enough but not some box office billion breaking monster, and not a total flop like the Flash either so you'll get people arguing it's a bomb or huge depending on their tribe. Gunnfags will cope that it made more than MoS, and Snyderfags will cope that it didn't when you adjust for inflation and this will never end

Going by the incoming Race Swapped Gay Harry Potter they are doubling down.

Harry Potter by Warner but this time Snape and Hermione are shit skins. And rumor has it that Dumbledore will in-universe be gay unlike in the previous theatrical films. Yeah....that's going to fail.

The characters are so shitty in those movies can't believe those god awful movies are successful. At least the new series of films for Planet of the Apes have decent characters and the narratives are somewhat fresh. But Jurassic World is rehashed trash with extremely shitty characters. Disgusting how successful these films are.

Yeah no it's not. The Nostalgia factor for the average CBM goer isn't there, the cgi doesn't look great, the dialogue is quipping/yelling, a bunch of essentially no names to normies in the cast, the visuals look pretty bland. Coming 2 years after Henry Cavill was teased to return etc, not to mention the competition.

>>149103220
And given what WBs poured into marketing that's gonna be a big disappointment.

it's simple, these video game icons Mario, Sonic and, even right now, Minecraft's Steve are considered, not only very popular with all audiences (including children), but also iconic characters in the same way as Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Batman, Spiderman, Scooby-Doo, Darth Vader, Garfield, Goku, Ninja Turtles, Homer Simpson, SpongeBob, Peter Griffin and Shrek, and that's because these characters still have relevance in today's culture. Superman, however, doesn't, even if he is considered one of the most iconic fictional characters and pieces of pop culture history

They aren't. Anon believes it's going to fail when realistically it will succeed because kids around the world love dinosaurs (which is literally a no brainer), and this is what attracts audiences. Even if the movie is shit, which it's going to be hot shit for sure, it's still going to make money because "lol rawr im a dinosaur" and the Jurassic Park/World franchise literally have dinosaurs that take up the entire lore of the franchise. So the whole meaning of the new Jurassic World having to do with this current culture war or some stupid shitty ass bullshit Limp Bizkit shit is some stupid schizo shit anon pulled out of his ass
